I'm wondering why technology is so difficult? When did such simple tasks as retrieving your Log In information to Facebook become so difficult. I don't use Facebook very often but thankfully when I do it seems to remember me without me needing to remind it. But then the day comes when it asked me for my e-mail and password. I have a lot of e-mails that I use except for my Facebook I used an older email. It was so long ago that I can't remember what the email was.
Obviously I should of written it down, but I didn't because I thought if I didn't remember it I could easily retrieve it. However when I tried to recover it Facebook didn't have the two questions, neither did it have an option to retrieve my username or password. So I had to guess over and over. I tried for several hours; I looked for info online, I looked for info on its website, everything leading me to a dead end.
I still haven't solved my problem yet and I doubt I will anytime soon. The sad part about all this is not that I feel like an idiot for not remembering my old email, or that the biggest site in the world can't help me retrieve my info so I can log in to its site. Its that a hacker probably knows my log in information and there is no way to contact them.
